I wrote a pretty good guide on the last page (see: http://flightanons.dreamwidth.org/2217.html?thread=3903913#cmt3903913 ).

Generally speaking, though, a plentiful is only rarely going to go for more than N.000 treasure. Maybe NX.000. Commons are generally in the NX.000 range, but a good gene or colour combo could push you into the NXY.000 range. Skydancers are generally at the low end of NXY.000, whereas Imperials tend to be middling to high NXY.000. (N, X, and Y being variables, naturally.)

I'm laughing at all the people flipping out on tumblr about cheap imperials. Did they honestly think they'd hold their value forever? Did you really think that you could continue charging 800k for basic imperials when people are lucky if they can sell a dragon for over 100k? They were going to fall in price eventually. Get over it.

It is seriously unfair how often the monsters dodge and get critical hits. My dragons are levelled above them. I have a level 19 and a level 20 dragging an exaltee through the Arena at the moment, and this last battle, I didn't get any critical hits and my level 5 exaltbait was the only one that dodged anything (twice! his Agility is way lower than my other two), whereas the enemies got three crits in a row, another three beyond that, and dodged a good four or five times.

I mean, I don't expect this to be easy, but goddamn that is just a little fucking ridiculous. Because this is pretty much the pattern for most of my battles as of late, unless I'm grinding the Training Grounds (which is terminally boring). My dragons can't dodge shit, or get critical hits, but the enemies can run circles around my dragons and beat the shit out of them.

If I didn't need treasure, I'd be done with this bullshit, seriously.

anecdotal and not at all substantiated, but i think QCK and AGI are useless in 1 player. in pvp they seem to count though. like Haste (which boosts QCK) is useless against monsters, but almost necessary in pvp. i have a STR/AGI girl and she dodges a metric fuckton of attacks in pvp but isnt great for grinding cuz she has no defense/mind lol.

too-much-money-and-too-little-sense anon from above decided to buy some plentiful breed change scrolls, and hot damn, would one of my wildclaws look great as a guardian. my pearlcatcher, too, to the point where i'm seriously considering changing her into one. (the irony is that i'm the one who made her into a pc in the first place. regrets, i have them.) and some of my mirrors would look really good as other plentiful breeds.

i'm so happy i decided to buy these. it's like a whole new world has opened up before me. a world of lowering the value of my dragons but simultaneously making them prettier.

Well, there's your problem. Considering if you catch them before the resellers there are some Imperials at 200k, if you'd just be patient and not blow all your treasure when you get to 100k, you could probably afford an Imperial in the time it takes you to get to 100k again.
