I'd like to gene them because they're my first ever hatchlings and I like how they came out so I want to actually put work into them, but I have no idea what might look good. Help me, kind anons!

i already said this in a comment, but: fellow naturebros, stop undercutting genes and scrolls in the AH by the thousands. please. you only need to go under by like 100 because people will buy the cheapest thing. undercutting by such a drastic amount only hurts us all in the long run.

do genes have rarities like breeds do?

as in, if one dragon is iri/shim and the other is tiger/eyespot, am I less likely to see any iri/shim babies?

For those wondering what scrolls to sell:

Tiger will sell like hotcakes.

Eye spots also sell pretty fast.

Clown and seraph are good sellers but they won't sell as fast as tiger or eyespots unless there's a shortage. Demand tends to come in waves.

stripes will sell okay-ish, it's a slowish seller. It'll sell, but it's not always worth the effort.

Speckle and freckle: don't bother, it's a slower sell than stripes and the profit margin is crap.

breed change scrolls: only worth while in the beginning of the week if you can be a vigilant seller. There's a larger profit margin, but ten times as many people are going to be complete dumb fucks when it comes to undercutting. Also tends to be a slow sale and will get slower with more of the dumb fuck breed of undercutters as the week goes on. If you can make it work, do it, if not don't bother, it's a pain in the butt.

I am so fucking pissed. Almost two weeks ago a user pretty much begged me to trade one of their future hatchlings for the hatchling I was trying to sell. I actually liked their color combo, and was feeling nice (and not in desperate need of cash), so I said yes. Fast forward to today, one day before they breed, and they tell me no, they need money now, so they're backing out of the deal. Of course, prices of dragons have dropped like a rock since then, I'll never make as much now as I would have then, plus the dragon was eating my food all this time.

I shouldn't have made the trade. I'm more pissed at myself than that other user. What the hell was I thinking? Ugh. Anyone want an iri/stripes pc? Selling at half the price I was two weeks ago! >.<
