I get hits, not as many as I get from people just looking at the AH or Tumblr, but I get hits.

Do it, I've definitely gotten more sales and tickets sold for things like raffle and reserve sales through there. You have to repost a lot, though, just like you have to bump in the forums, but that doesn't bother me that much. I've also never gotten shit from people on Tumblr, except one person that took issue with me saying I won't lowering prices on babies I said I wouldn't lower because I can exalt for more than what I was listing, and I mostly avoid the tag so it's been a stress free experience so far.

what tags do you use? i've been trying to sell on tumblr but i'm a total newb so idk if i'm doing it right. i've tried just #flight rising but my posts didn't seem to actually be showing up on the tag so maybe i did something wrong?

that's the right tag, but the tag gets a lot of posts so maybe when you're checking you're pushed off the page already? I user that, #fr and #flight rising sales and #fr sales, I'll also tag what breeds they are and if they're neon wings or bright wings, I don't know if that actually helps but I do it just in case.

Also make sure you're putting all the info on your posts too, like the gender, colors, genes, RTB days, price, etc, and list how the people can buy them from you and your username on every post.

yeah, it does move fast, but generally not THAT fast. either you're hitting it up at peak times or i know tumblr is sometimes stupid and won't post your post in the tag. :/ i've had that happen to me a few times. either way, like i said, repost more than once a day, like 2-3 times. i generally do morning, midday and night.

...oh i looked at tumblr's page and apparently they don't show your posts in the tag search until you're ~established~ and follow people and shit

also you're not going to be selling everything right away, a lot of my plentiful babies i don't sell, but i'm okay with that because i will level and exalt them when they're grown. but even rarer dragons i have issues with, like right now i have a spiral that's pretty good colors that i've been trying to push for 3 weeks now. BUT relatively speaking, compared to using the sales forum, i get more hits from tumblr.
