i thought apparel was a really slow market though. have you had good experiences? do people really buy stuff like apparel with gems? (or, tangentially, battle stones?)

I have been selling my low-level (Delta) coliseum drop apparel for gems. So far, it's taken about a day to sell at 1g under the lowest rate. (These are items in the double digits to begin with.) I wouldn't recommend buying to flip, but if you're grinding, it's a definite profit booster.
