what exactly is the issue here

i mean if the site fucked up and i paid actual money for something and it didn't work, i would hope the mods would un-gene the dragon i fucked up and give me back the scroll i, again, paid actual money for

it doesn't seem like they're trying to lie or anything since yeah their history would show if they bought the shit or not

1) it smacks of "i put gems but the ah changed it to treasure!"/"i put another 0 but the ah clipped it off!"

Well, it screams to me "I rushed, misclicked, and don't want to take personal responsibility for my fuck up." Like the people that screwed up and mispriced auction listings and expected admins to fix their stupidity. At least this one isn't asking at the expense of other players at least.
