Woes. I found the PERFECT imperial breeding pair, with the hatchlings going cheap. While I dithered over whether they were perfect, people with less dither grabbed all the slots and paid in advance.

What's the colour range you're looking for? I have a few breeding pairs, if one of them's in the right range, I could put you down on a ping list for an inexpensive hatchling.

Damn, I just have greyscales, earth tones, and warm colours.

The cool ranges are pretty popular, though, so hopefully someone else will have what you're looking for at a decent price.

Which warm colors? If they're really really flaming, I love those too.

soil-ivory primary range, secondary range wraps from grey around to gold, so it has potential for all the pinks, reds and oranges, and the lower range of yellows.

I'm getting a double or triple red-range imperial in about a week, when that clutch hatches, and am planning on breeding that one to either another double red or a red/yellow, but that'd be a pretty long wait.

That's cool. Imps are expensive enough that it's better to get what you really want the first time 'round.

Hopefully you can find another decent reserve price. People seem to be jacking them up to disgusting levels again. (Although if you have some money on hand, there are a few cute blue/greens and blue/purples in the AH for ~300k - the owners might be willing to hold them or negotiate a price, if there are any that really stand out to you.)
