Yeah, you have to have thin skin being fed up with your own plurks being railroaded to a topic, and if you say anything against it, you're told to shut up.

I'm not looking for sympathy, I was ranting. And yeah, I am quiting. Then I can remove all of the FR people on my timeline who bitch about the economy, which is, you know, all but two of them. Because like hell can you get anything done in this game if you don't have any connections.

Again, because you need connections to get anywhere. I only recently joined the site--at the last open reg. I had trouble at first until I made a few connections. Then almost all of them turned out to be people who bitch about the economy because they were sanctimonious oldbies who signed up at the very beginning and don't understand how supply and demand work, but they want to help the newbies because it looks good.

At the same time, I'm not stupid: I was getting anywhere on the site because I had, well, connections.

you don't have to get your connections on plurk. just leave them behind if they're toxic and find other people elsewhere. (and i got by without connections myself, so i kinda don't get it, but i'm not a newbie, so maybe i don't know how it is, who knows.)

Well, I'm also on a shit computer. So none of the games load, and the coliseum only loads about half the time.

Basically, if I wanted to hear about someone bitching about the economy, I'd go sit at the local bar because it's full of old people who think everything is the younger generation's fault and not their own, and who think you can just walk around and find a better job.

yeah, so? i'm also on a shit computer, pretty much never play the games or coli as a result, and i made my own way. it took some patience, but it wasn't too hard? but maybe saying that just makes me an obnoxious rich guy, idk.

You also have to realize: when I joined, my dragons were already worth only 5K. So anything I breed isn't worth much, especially since you only start with two dragons, and you either win raffles or get lucky. I made connections, got some nice dragons for good deals that I could reasonably do, etc. So I had a chance at making treasure, which I didn't really have before.

okay. i made bank from reselling shit, i rarely make much from what i breed. but i know that reselling isn't for everyone, so i won't argue it anymore.
